Sunday I photographed the Eight Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Style Show. The theme of this year’s show was Wearing it with Passion…It Looks Good on You. Twenty models shared their stories and rocked down the runway in front of 500 friends, families and supporters at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Each year this event offers inspiration to those undergoing treatment, those who have survived and for those who may yet experience breast cancer. This year was no different.
Stealing the show this year was model Nicole Smith, who during her encore walk down the runway surprised the crowd who responded with applause and cheers as she pulled off her wig to proudly show she was not letting her battle with breast cancer slow her down. One couldn’t help but be inspired after seeing her courage and passion for life.
