Tonight I was asked to help drive the Homecoming Court around the stadium before the football game. Well instead of one of the queen candidates, I had the privilege of driving these two around. One held the game ball while the other had the tiara and envelope with the winner’s name. We wanted to peek, but we didn’t.

Friday Night Football
It didn’t feel like fall, but last night was the beginning of football season. Nate and I went to the Northwood High School football game. I think he spent most of the time running around with his friends, but I spent my time on the sideline shooting and enjoying the game.
Here are a few photos from the game.

Think Pink
The Toledo women’s basketball teamed up with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure with a “Think Pink” night Saturday to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
Fans were encouraged to wear pink and Susan G. Komen for the Cure donated t-shirts and an assortment of pink giveaways for the event. UT players wore pink socks and pink ribbons on their uniform. Unfortunately, The Lady Rockets lost to Miami 60-76, but the game was closer than the score indicated.
For more information about what you can do to join in the fight against breast cancer, visit http://komennwohio.org or http://komen.org.
I volunteer on a regular basis for the local Komen affiliate, so tonight I attended the game to document “Think Pink” for the affiliate newsletter.
